Dr. Thi Le
DOCTOR AND OWNER
Dr. Thi T. Le, OD graduated magna cum laude from the Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) where she received the Outstanding Senior Award for "outstanding ethical and professional attitude demonstrated through leadership and service to the class, college and profession". In addition to her Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Le also has a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from MCO and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Le completed clinical rotations at the Henry Ford Health System's OptimEyes, the Beaumont Eye Institute's Low Vision Center, and the Michigan State Prison's Duane L. Waters Hospital. Her clinical training emphasized primary eye care, contact lenses, LASIK management, ocular disease management, and low vision.
Dr. Le is a member of the Central Texas Optometric Society, the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Le happily calls Austin home, having lived in Vietnam, California, Michigan, and Singapore. She is busy outside of the office with 2 children in AISD schools and 2 college students.
A self-declared foodie, she is willing to try anything once and delights in trading suggestions with patients. An avid traveler, Dr. Le has been to over 30 countries but knows that There's no place like home in Austin, Texas!
Amelia has been an optician for 9 years and is ABO certified. She has been working at Bella Vision for 2 years. She found Bella while searching for an optical with a full service lab where she could expand her optical skills. Her favorite part about optical is helping patients transition from a pair of glasses that they have to wear to a pair that they feel confident in and are excited to wear. Amelia also enjoys selecting frames for the office that are not only superior in quality but are also individual pieces of art. Her favorite lines are Spectacle Eyeworks and Caroline Abram.
In her free time, you can find Amelia at a local coffee shop with her wife, her dog Truly, and a deck of cards.
Angie has been working at Bella Vision for 3 years. After graduating from UT Austin, she transitioned from a part time assistant to a full time optician at Bella Vision. Under the mentorship of Dr. Le and Amelia, she has learned the skills required to become a caring optician. Her favorite part about optical is connecting with people and learning how to enhance their vision. She also enjoys learning about eyewear companies and the artistry that goes into handmade frames. Her favorite lines are Andy Wolf and Etnia Barcelona.
In the near future, Angie plans on going to Optometry school and following in Dr. Le’s footsteps.
